Chess offers huge benefits to many areas of learning, including developing children’s concentration, memory, logic, critical thinking and creativity. Chess can help enhance areas of the national curriculum and allows children to understand that hard work is rewarded.

It is the most popular board game, and in our club children learn the names of pieces and their movements, rules of the game. Values of pieces and strategies and teaches children to look ahead.
